The aesthetics industry seems to be head over heels for stem cell treatments and it has been this way for quite some time. It is said that the growth of more stem cells will lead to younger, healthier skin that doesn’t display the signs of aging.
Over the years, some of these beauty-related therapies have been proven to be unsafe, unpredictable and unregulated. There are commercials and advertisements for stem cell facelifts that promise to give you much younger looking skin!
But, all that just may change. Come April, the FDA will hold a public hearing about stem cells and other things like fat injections. Stem cell treatments or treatments claiming to use stem cells may turn into a thing of the past!
