ThermiAesthetics: Changes name & Secures $9M

ThermiAesthetics has decided to do some ‘spring cleaning’ of sorts. ThermiGen, DBA ThermiAesthetics has changed their name to ThermiHealth, according to a new press release by ThermiGen, LLC. That in addition to securing $9,000,000 of debt financing from Cypress Growth Capital and Silicon Valley Bank likely means a focus on broadening and growing their share in the aesthetic device industry.

ThermiAesthetics is the manufacturer of Thermi RF. According to their press release, the capital will allow them to continue to invest in FDA applications and product development. They also hinted at developing and building their existing sales force.

Ideally, they use the capital to generate consumer awareness as ThermiRF severely lacks it. Consumers are uneducated as to how it works and what the clear benefits are. Results and feedback from physicians has been positive but that’s only half the battle.
